On January 25, QuantaSing Group Limited, one of leading China's leading online adult education companies, was successfully listed on Nasdaq(NASDAQ: QSG).
The company offered at $12.5/ADS and closed at $12.52/ADS with a market cap of $690 million.
Investment banking majors Citigroup and China's CICC and CLSAare sponsoring a new lPO by QuantaSing to raise over $44 million.
QuantaSing provides online learning services for adults. With the help of new technologies such as AI and mobile internet, its online platforms have involved courses covering various fields such as financial literacy courses, personal interest courses, talent management services, and marketing services for enterprises, etc. Its branches include knowledge-sharing service platforms QiNiu Academy, JiangZhen,, and QianChi Academy.
As of November 30, 2022, the company claimed about 75.1 million total registered users. And for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2022, QuantaSing has accumulated 1.1 million paying users.
According to its financial results, QuantaSing’s revenue for fiscal years ending on June 30, 2021, and June 30, 2022 were 1.76 billion and 2.868 billion respectively, showing a year-on-year increase of 63.0%. The net losses were 316 million and 233 million yuan respectively. After adjustment, the net loss in the fiscal year 2021 was 214 million yuan, and the net profit in the fiscal year 2022 was 58 million yuan. In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023, the revenue of QuantaSing was 659 million yuan, with a total loss of 97.3 million yuan.
