VictoryXR, a Davenport, Iowa, USA-based education platform driven by XR technologies, has completed a $2.5 million round from Hartmann Capital to scale its metaversity platform globally.
Founded in 2016, VictoryXR offers immersive classrooms and campuses through virtual reality. The platform allows for students to interact in a synchronous yet virtual environment. Educators are given training and 3D objects to teach a variety of subjects to their students.
The company stated that its platform is currently used in over 120 university campuses.
Other participants in this fundraising round include Juvo Ventures, who led the effort, as well as Tamiami Angels and Kendall Hunt publishing.
