iSchool, an Egypt-based edtech startup, has secured $4.5M in funding led by VentureWave Capital, an Irish VC, with support from OneStop Capital UK, WEBIT CAPITAL Investment Network, and Oraseya Capital, the VC arm of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, according to an announcement by Muhammad Gawish, Co-Founder & CEO at iSchool Edtech.

“With this milestone, iSchool Holdings extends its presence to Ireland, propelling global expansion. We're set to grow a dynamic team in Dublin, fueling our swift expansion into six MENA countries, enhancing the 'Online Coding Platform' and extending our gamified online classroom app to Sub-Saharan Africa,” said Muhammad Gawish.

Started out by teaching tech for K12 students in 2018, and iSchool now provides live, gamified coding classes for students aged 6-18, covering artificial intelligence, virtual reality, app development, game development, and web development.
