PalFish, a provider of online English learning service, has secured tens of million of dollars in Series C funding round, according to Tianyancha, a data technology service company in China. Investors participating the round are not disclosed.
Founded in 2015, the startup is run by Beijing DuWo Technology Co., Ltd. Starting as a platform for adults to practice oral English, it then pivoted to online English teaching for children.
Last week, on PalFish 2019 product upgrade launch conferece, it announced to upgrade four major products: PalFish Grade Reading, PalFish Kids, PalFish Intensive Reading, along with PalFish Phonics, with a goal to meet various user needs across different age groups through different products, and create a closed loop of learning in all scenarios.
PalFish said it has reached 20 million users, in which 500,000 are paid users. Last year, it completed an extended Series B funding round led by Whales Capital.
