Degreed, a corporate learning platform headquartered in California, announed to acquire London-based Adepto, according to a press release by Degreed CEO, Chris McCarthy in last week. Both companies didn’t disclose terms of the deal.
Degreed, founded in 2012, provides a platform for users to learn, develop and measure their skills. McCarthy said, Degreed acquired Adepto to add more offerings, and then expand its international market.
Founded in 2013, Adepto enables organizations to match workers to projects, gigs, and job opportunities that fit their abilities and career goals. It claims to have 40 employees and three offices in London, New York and Brisbane.
