2020 China's Civil Servant Exam Postponed to Combat Coronavirus Outbreak

After the written exam sit by all candidates on November 24th, 2019, the State Administration of Civil Service announced yesterday that the follow-up steps of 2020 China's Civil Servant Exam will be postponed in order to implement the requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the prevention and control of coronavirus.

Previously, the Ministry of Education(MOE) issued a notice, stressing that education administrative departments at all levels and schools should not hold large-scale gatherings and examinations in principle during the progress of coronavirus epidemic prevention and control.

To response the notice, JMDedu found that besides the Civil Servant Exam, follow-up process of exam to get into university art programs will also be delayed, announced by China’s top art schools including the Central Academy of Drama, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Communication University of China, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Film Academy.

Provinces such as Jiangsu, Henan, and Sichuan also claimed to postpone collective educational activities such as art examinations, and all the schools and kindergartens will not reopen until they are notified officially.
