Kaishu Story announced recently that the company has raised US$66 million in the C+ round of financing led by TrustBridge Partners and followed by Loyal Valley Capital and Singapore-based Temasek. Last July, the company has just completed its C round with US$50 million invested by Baidu, New Oriental, TAL and Shanghai-based Kunyan Capital.

During the six years since Kaishu Story was founded, the model of content development has pivoted from relying upon CEO Wang Kai’s own creation to building a professional studio. Last year, Kaishu Story has created literary content for children with more than 7 million words. On this basis, the company has created many distinctive intellectual properties, continuously digging into providing children's content services.

Currently, Kaishu Story has built a children’s product matrix covering drama, rhymes, comics, video courses, AI courses and intelligent teaching devices. Meanwhile, Kaishu Story announced last September a strategic and in-depth cooperation with New Oriental Group from online to offline, including several New Oriental’s subsidiaries and education platforms such as Kindergarten of Stars, Koolearn and Family Education Research and Guidance Center.
