Easy Group Secures Nearly Ten Millions of USD for Further Business Development

Easy Group, an international education services provider, claimed this February that the company had raised nearly ten millions of US dollars in the latest round of financing from Matrix Partners China. According to Zhang Yuwei, the CEO of Easy Group, the fund would mainly be used for enlarging professional teaching team, technology development, and product optimization.

Founded in Toronto in 2014, Easy Group now has established 11 offline campuses, including the regional headquarters in Toronto and Shanghai. The target customers are the community of oversea student who needs academic guidance, enrollment planning, postgraduate application, and career development consultation. Full-time teachers, which dominate 60 percent of the whole faculty, provide professional guidance to improve these Chinese oversea students’ competence and eliminate negative emotions. With such a running module, Easy Group states on its website that the company has achieved $100 million revenue and the firm valuation exceeding hundreds of millions in 2019.

Meanwhile, the number of offline students and online users had overtaken 100 thousand and 170 thousand respectively last year. In the future, Easy Group plans to pay equal attention to both its offline and online business, providing a more convenient learning platform for a new large community of prospective oversea students in China.

Moreover, Zhang Yuwei said that Easy Group is going to add the guidance of some niche courses like Humanities, East Asian History, French to meet different students’ needs from different learning backgrounds as much as possible.
