Indian Online Tutoring Platform Camp K12 Raises $4 Million Seed Round

Camp K12, a Haryana, India-based edtech startup, has raised $4 million in a seed round co-led by Matrix Partners and SAIF Partners, according to Economic Times.Founded by Anshul Bhagi and Sandeep Bhagi in 2010, Camp K12 provides K-12 students with online training and has a focus on live learning courses for STEAM subjects. The company said it has already trained over 50,000 students and has partnered with hundreds of schools.“Camp K12’s custom-built virtual classroom environment for small-group learning, their pedagogy, and their curriculum reflect a passion for education, deep consumer understanding, and profound technical capability. We feel this market is going to grow exponentially,” said Mukul Arora, Managing Director at SAIF Partners.In light of COVID-19, the company is offering free online courses for ages 6-18, according to its website.
