Camp K12, a Haryana, India-based edtech startup, has raised $4 million in a seed round co-led by Matrix Partners and SAIF Partners, according to Economic Times.

Founded by Anshul Bhagi and Sandeep Bhagi in 2010, Camp K12 provides K-12 students with online training and has a focus on live learning courses for STEAM subjects. The company said it has already trained over 50,000 students and has partnered with hundreds of schools.

“Camp K12’s custom-built virtual classroom environment for small-group learning, their pedagogy, and their curriculum reflect a passion for education, deep consumer understanding, and profound technical capability. We feel this market is going to grow exponentially,” said Mukul Arora, Managing Director at SAIF Partners.

In light of COVID-19, the company is offering free online courses for ages 6-18, according to its website.
