China’s Ministry of Education (MOE) announced recently that the resumption of large-scale sports gathering and activities in schools will be postponed.
At the current stage, the local epidemic transmission is "basically blocked". Schools from different provinces have successively announced the date of the spring semester. While, as the increasing imported cases are confirmed, China is still facing great pressure to curb the spread of the virus.
Therefore, MOE required schools and colleges to suspend the large-scale sports gathering for protecting teachers and students. Also, MOE encouraged schools to carry out the classes and training online to promote the reformation of physical education.
