Kabi(卡比早教), an online parent-child early education platform in China, has recently completed tens of millions in the angel round financing, led by Evergreen Evergreen, North Tower Capital, Ruifeng Capital, and Blue Elephant Capital. The fund will be used to vie for more market shares.
Established in 2019, Kabi provides a taken-back-home early education center for families with children aged 0 to 3, adopting small-sized class model with live broadcasting. According to the founder He Liang, Kabi Early Education originated from Harvard Innovation Lab, and the company incorporated the "multiple intelligence" theory established by child educationist Professor Howard Gardner at Harvard University.
Targeting parents who demand early education but are tired of going out, the product is offered at a lower price. As JMDedu analyzed previously, parenting education sector may usher in a new stage of rapid growth due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and Shen Shen Wenbo, the founding partner of North Tower Capital, suggested that Kaibi’s actions can bring new changes to the early education industry and the epidemic will also make it easier for more families to accept the online education.
