As one of the largest online English tutoring companies in China, VIPKid recently taps into the sector of mathematics thinking with online interactive courses for children from 3 to 8-year-old. The product is currently undergoing testing with a small group of children and parents, and more than 1000 users have paid for courses at regular price.

Students will attend online large-sized classes while being divided into different small groups. The class adopts a dual-teacher model, and lecturing teachers were all graduated from Tsinghua University and Peking University. Assistant teachers will be in charge of preview, tutoring, and correcting homework.

According to the person in charge, the company developed a mathematical thinking teaching model that conforms to the brain development and learning growth cycle of children aged 3-8 based on Benjamin Bloom’s theory and designed an advanced scientific curriculum system for different ages.

The market scale in China for mathematics thinking focusing on children from 3 to 8-year-old has reached tens of billions of yuan. The competition in the market for younger age groups has intensified.
