China-based educational SaaS provider Yunxuetang announces Series E1 Round led by Tencent
Corporate learning platform Yunxuetang (云学堂) announced yesterday its first deal in Series E funding round led by Tencent. And this brings the company’s total funding to over US$ 300 million.
Established in December 2011, Yunxuetang provides SaaS services for corporate learning and online education. According to the company, it is expected that a second deal in the Series E funding round will be completed soon.
An industrial report shows that in 2020, China's corporate training industry's market size will reach 768.1 billion yuan, exceeding 900 billion yuan in 2025. In the future, WeChat Work and Yunxuetang will co-develop products and coordinate resources, aiming to provide solutions bettering employees' learning experience and reducing corporate learning costs.
