Quizizz, a Bangalore-based interactive learning platform, has raised $31.5 million in Series B round led by Tiger Global Management.
Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, GSV Ventures, and Eight Roads Ventures, along with new backers including Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, also participated. The latest investment brings the company’s total funding raised to date to $47 million.
Launched in 2015, Quizizz helps teachers and enterprises create gamified quizzes and interactive lessons. Teachers can use and customize quizzes and lessons spanning primary school mathematics to career and technical education. In 2020, students collectively answered more than 13 billion questions on the platform.
The company will continue to expand its team across India and the US, and further invest in key partnerships to accelerate expansion in international markets.
