Shanghai-based ed-tech company Wenxiang Education recently announced that it has received an additional investment of 25 million yuan from the company's founder and major shareholders. The fresh capital will be used to further support the product R&D and market expansion.
It is reported that the company has closed its Series A round of financing with 30 million yuan at the beginning of this year.
Founded in 2018, Wenxiang Education combines big data and AI technology to provide tools for the digital transformation of the education industry and provides SaaS solutions for evaluation, data-driven decision-making, and individualized teaching. The company’s products have been introduced to kindergarten, primary school, junior high school, high school, and international high school.
According to the company, the homeschooling system has been successfully implemented in several regional education bureaus amid the COVID-19 epidemic, with nearly 500,000 new users. At the meanwhile, Wenxiang’s teacher development system is being fully upgraded.
