Leverage Edu, a Noida, India-based international higher education consulting platform, has announced that it has raised $40 million in its Series C round led by Educational Testing Service (ETS), with participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and Kaizenvest PE, increasing the startup's valuation to approximately $150 million.
With this funding, the company plans to strengthen its presence in the USA and Australian markets.
Founded in 2017 by Akshay Chaturvedi, Leverage Edu helps students from countries, including India, Nigeria, and Nepal, study abroad.
The platform provides a range of services, including counselling, application support, college admissions assistance, education loans, international money transfer, and student accommodation. It claims to have a monthly enrollment of over 6,000 students.
