Doushen Education (300010.SZ) recently published its 2026 interim report. Revenue for the first half reached RMB 525 million, up 16.95% year on year, mainly on higher course-sales income. Net profit attributable to shareholders was a loss of RMB 24.39 million, down 123.49%, while net profit excluding non-recurring items was a loss of RMB 27.27 million, down 140.47%.
Operating costs rose 7.52% to RMB 163 million on scale expansion. Selling expenses jumped 63.70% to RMB 323 million on increased marketing; administrative expenses rose 55.89% to RMB 91.13 million on labor and depreciation; R&D investment slipped 5.29% to RMB 56.83 million.
The company's main businesses are AI education, arts-learning services, smart-education services, and cultural-tourism study trips. By segment, AI education revenue reached RMB 114 million, up 664.32% and 21.74% of total sales; arts-learning services contributed RMB 323 million, up 9.90% (61.53%); smart education RMB 34.28 million, up 4.46% (6.52%); study trips RMB 8.68 million (1.65%); and other income RMB 44.98 million (8.56%).
On the AI side, Doushen launched AIclass 2.0 (a "super study-practice course") in May, covering reading, writing, literature and classical Chinese. It released its self-developed "Doushen AI" large model in 2024 and, in 2025, the "AI Dual-Teacher" and "AI Super Training Ground" software plus a "study-companion robot" hardware. The company is also developing "Tianshu," an AI-Agent-driven intelligent CRM engine using a multi-agent architecture to automate profiling, intent analysis, customer review and personalized SOP execution for sales.
Doushen said it will keep investing in AI R&D and application, focusing on personalized learning, intelligent tutoring, content generation and teaching efficiency.
