Newcapec Electronics(300248.SZ), a China-based smart card system software provider, recently has released its annual report of the 2019 fiscal year. During the reporting period, Newcapec achieved a revenue of 964 million yuan, an increase of 15.09% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 157 million yuan, an increase of 64.07% over the same period last year.

According to the data of core business and products, the income of smart campus application solutions was 542 million, an increase of 9.85 year-on-year; and the income of smart campus cloud platform solutions has achieved 128 million, an increase of 45.12% year-on-year.

Taking the campus one-card solution for universities as one of its core businesses, Newcapec has started to work on the sector of smart campus since last year. Meanwhile, the company is also expanding the business of Mobile Internet and vocational education, and the App named WanMeiXiaoYuan(meaning of perfect campus) has been introduced by over 1000 colleges and universities, covering 14 million registered users with an MAU around 50%.

Aiming to transform from a manufacturing supplier to an education service provider, Newcapec also takes M&A as the main approach, which can rapidly increase the company’s competitiveness at the current stage.
