Alibaba Group's communication app DingTalk announced yesterday its partnership with Alipay to support 5000 schools, 1000 educational institutions and 100 education bureaus to achieve education informatization.
Last March, DingTalk has released “DingTalk Future School", a new business of Alibaba tapping into education. Since this February, 140 thousand schools in 30 provinces in China organized online courses and activities via DingTalk platform. The COVID-19 epidemic accelerates the company's education business layout.
According to the plan, Ding Talk will cooperate with Alipay to help educational institutions attract customers online by providing DingTalk's operation mode and more opportunities for product promotion in Alipay platform. For financial support, educational institutions in Wuhan city will benefit from the cooperation between DingTalk and MYBANK, including lower lending rates and service charge. Plus, aiming at the situation of reopening schools, Alipay will offer Healthy Code for undertaking digital epidemic prevention works in school effectively.
