Classplus, an Indian B2B edtech startup, has secured $9 million in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global, with participation from existing investors including Blume Ventures, Sequoia Capital India’s Surge, Spiral Ventures, and Strive.

Founded in 2018, the startup offers management software and mobile application to coaching institutes, tuition centers, and private tutors. Amid the national lockdown due to the pandemic crisis, the startup has helped coaching centers to provide online courses, exams, and multimedia content.

As of now, Classplus has more than 3,000 tutors and over 500,000 students on its platform across India. It has just raised $2.5 million from Blume Ventures this February.

The newly raised capital will be used to improve its technology and expand product offerings.
