Saudi Edtech Startup Noon Academy Raises $13M Pre-Series B Round to Expand New Markets

Noon Academy, a Saudi edtech startup, has raised $13 million in a Pre-Series B round led by existing investor STV, with participation from other investors including Alturki Holding and NFX Ventures, according to MENAbytes. The startup has raised $21 million as of today.

Founded in 2013, the company has developed into a comprehensive online learning platform from a simple test preparation website. It has been expanding into new markets across Saudi Arabia and beyond, such as India and Pakistan. 

Noon Academy claims its userbase has doubled since the outbreak of COVID-19. It will add functionality to enable schools around the world to utilize the platform to address their specific needs easily.

The company currently has about 120 employees and offices in Saudi, Egypt, India & Pakistan.
