Telemedicine Provider Hazel Health Secures $33.5M Series C Round Led by Owl Ventures and Bain Capital

hazel官网.pngHazel Health recently raised $33.5 million in a Series C funding round led by Owl Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures. UCSF, Centene, and Uprising also participated in the round.

Founded five years ago, the San Francisco-based telemedicine provider connects students in K-12 public schools with physician consultantsfrom their school nurses' offices. The startup quickly launched Hazel at Home service for students and their families when the COVID-19 started to spread in the United States. Now with Hazel, students have access to virtual doctor visits both at school and at home.

Hazel claims it has currently reached 1.5 million students. Before COVID-19, the number was 300,000.

The company will use the fresh capital to expand its market in the United States further.
