Canadian Math Learning Platform Knowledgehook Raises $20 Million to Expand Operations

Knowledgehook, a Canada-based mathematics learning platform, closed $20M Series A round of financing led by a London-based edtech investment fund, with participation from Alexandria Corp., Nelson Education, Ideal Ventures, and Nicoya Ventures.Founded in 2014, Knowledgehook is an Instructional Guidance System (IGS) that uses engaging assessments to guide math teachers. According to Knowledgehook, its AI-enabled platform supports district-wide math improvement by scaling anytime, anywhere professional learning to build teacher capacity while engaging students and providing parents insights. Teachers have access to content aligned to their jurisdiction’s curriculum.Knowledgehook currently helps educators across more than 100,000 schools. The newly raised capital will be used to expand operations and its business reach.
