LearnUpon, a Dublin, Ireland-headquartered LMS platform, announced it has received a $56 million growth equity investment from Summit Partners.
Founded in 2012, LearnUpon has developed a cloud-based learning management system for companies to deliver online training to their employees, customers, partners and resellers. Its clients include Booking. com, logitech, Twilio, and Zendesk, according to its website.
It is the first time for LearnUpon to raise capital in such a major funding round. The company has offices in Philadelphia, Sydney, and Belgrade.
LearnUpon plans to use the funding to scale its team and expand offerings to meet customer demand.
