India's English Language Learning Platform Stones2Milestones Raises $2.55M Bridge Funding

Stones2Milestones, an India-based English language learning platform, has raised Rs 19 crore ($2.55 million) in a bridge funding round, which was led by Unreasonable Capital and its Limited Partner Goldhirsh Foundation, with participation from investors including angel platforms LetsVenture, the AngelList US Syndicate, and the FAAD Network, according to Inc42.

Founded in 2016, Stones2Milestones focuses on promoting language proficiency and developing critical skills. It has Freadom application and the Wings of Words programme.  

According to its website, Freadom is an adaptive mobile reading app that helps children develop English reading skills at home. Wings of Words programme is a research based pedagogically program aimed at building reading skills of children of age 3 to grade 3 in school.

Kavish Gadia, S2M co-founder and CEO, said the fresh capital will be used to expand S2M's growth, scale its visibility through social media and marketing efforts. The company will also hire more technology talents and is planning to enter international markets by January 2021.
