Acadsoc, a China-based international one-stop online shop for English as a Second Language(ESL) learning and education consultancy, today announces that it has raised tens of millions of yuan in a Series C4 round of financing, with the investors undisclosed. According to Acadsoc, the latest capital will be used for recruiting more foreign teachers, teaching content research and development, as well as product innovation and upgrade.
This round is the 8th round closed so far by Acadsoc since its establishment in 2011, and the company has just completed its C3 round last month.
Acadsoc started its business by providing students who are going to study abroad with 1-on-1 English tutoring classes, and now the company is offering 1-on-1 English learning courses taught by foreign teachers, study abroad consultancy, and on-demand video learning services.
