Berlin-based digital coaching platform CoachHub has raised a funding round of around €25 million led by new investor Draper Esprit, alongside existing investors HV Capital, Partech, Speedinvest, signals Venture Capital and RTP Global. This latest round brings the total funds raised to over €40 million.

Founded in 2018, CoachHub uses AI to match individuals to business coaches, covering fields like time management, stress management, and leadership skills. Companies invite employees to the digital coaching platform, where an A.I.-based matching system suggests three business coaches that fit the employee’s individual requirements.

Within just two years the team has created a global network of more than 1000 certified coaches across six continents. The German startup will use the funds to recruit 120 new employees across Europe, Asia and the US over the next year, as well as add 1,000 coaches to its network.

Its team also has plans to develop its think tank “Coaching Lab”, which uses machine learning technology and business intelligence to drive behaviour research and development in the field of coaching; it also offers expert contributions and tools to support the development of employees.
