Ironhack, a Miami-headquartered coding bootcamp provider, announced a Series B funding round of $20 million from Endeavor Catalyst, Lumos Capital, Creas, and Brighteye.
According to TechCrunch, the company will use the money to build out more virtual offerings to complement the company’s campuses and expand its corporate training and development programmes for enterprises.
Founded in 2013, Ironhack offers courses in subjects including web development, UX/UI design, data analytics, and cybersecurity. It has established campuses in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon, Madrid, Mexico City, Miami, Paris, and São Paulo.
Ironhack has graduated over 8,000+ students who are building their careers at companies like Capgemini, Siemens, and Santander.
“We believe that practical skills training, a supportive global community, and career development programs can give everyone, regardless of their education or employment history, the ability to write their stories through technology,” said co-founder Ariel Quiñones.
