China-based online children programming education provider Hetao101 announces Series C funding round

Hetao101, a Chinese edtech company providing online children’s programming teaching services and course products, announces today its $200 million Series C round of financing led by KKR, Vision+ Capital, GL Ventures, with Source Code Capital and Huaxing Growth Capital also participating.

According to Hetao101, all of the latest funds will be poured into educational development, with continuous investment in high-quality teacher reserves, teaching and research system and AI teaching product construction, to continuously improve user experience and service quality. 

At the conference, the company has also launched a self-developed graphical creation tool for children's programming named “NUTS”, which will be fully linked to various children’s programming competitions.

Founded in August 2017, Hetao101 focuses on providing online programming education services for children aged 4-12 years. Through its pioneering AI dual-teaching(man-machine) model, Hetao101 realizes large-scale teaching following aptitude. To date, Hetao101 has formed a teaching and research team of more than 400 staff.
