China-based corporate learning platform Yunxuetang (云学堂) announced today its second deal in Series E funding round led by Matrix Partners China, with Sequoia Capital and Hundreds Capital also participating. And the company has closed its E1 funding round led by Tencent two months ago.
The total fund of the two rounds was USD190 million, bringing the company’s valuation to over USD1 billion. According to Yunxuetang, the latest fund will be used for AI technology and software product innovation, content ecosystem upgrade, and customer service improvement.
Established in December 2011, Yunxuetang provides SaaS services for corporate learning and online education. To date, the company has served tens of millions of learners from tens of thousands of Chinese companies such as China Merchants Bank, COFCO Group, FAW Group, etc.
