rhithm 官网.pngRhithm, a social-emotional learning and mental health startup, raised $4 million in a seed round led by Reach Capital and joined by SJF Ventures, Red House Education, and Edovate Capital, bringing its total funding raised to $4.5 million.

With the funding, Rhithm plans to hire more team members, and will likely look to expand into other verticals like higher education and B2B services.

Launched in 2019, Rhithm app uses emojis to ask K-12 students about their needs, including hunger and feelings of conflict or anger, and the data is then uploaded into a dashboard for teachers and districts to track individuals and macro trends occurring across campuses and districts.

The company claimed its emojified bio-social assessments app has already helped more than 100,000 students and staff in Texas, Arkansas, and Alabama.
