India's online teaching-focused SaaS platform Teachmint said that it raised $20 million in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Learn Capital and joined by CM Ventures.

These funds will be used for talent acquisition, product offering expansion, and international market expansion.

Founded in 2020, Teachmint is a mobile-first, video-first teaching platform that enables teachers to digitize their classrooms. The platform also enables ease of content delivery, enhanced student engagement and seamless workflow tools. The startup said its platform is available in 10 Indian languages other than English.

More than 1 million teachers from over 5,000 cities and towns have registered the platform as of today, said Mihir Gupta, co-founder & CEO at Teachmint.

The startup recently also announced a new product called Teachmint for Institute to serve schools and colleges.
