Skinow, a Beijing-based ski training provider, closed a round of RMB100 million (US$15.7 million) led by Zhengxin Capital. The proceeds will be used for brand marketing, ski outfit selling, and ski racing events planning and organization, as well as domestic market expansion.
Founded in 2015, Skinow provides indoor ski training to people ranging from children to adults. The company has courses for both individual learners and ski instructors.
In addition, Skinow organizes ski travels at home and abroad, sells ski outfits, and hosts ski racing events. It also partners with schools by organizing seminars and building school ski teams, as well as renting and selling ski training machines.
Skinow now has nearly 100 centers and more than 50,000 learners across China, according to its website.
