Atom Learning, a London-based online learning platform for primary school children, announced that it has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
The fresh capital will help the company accelerate growth in the UK and double headcount over the next 12 months, as well as expand into the US in 2022.
Atom helps primary school children master key subjects (including English, Maths, and science) and prepare for school exams.
The company said it has bootstrapped itself since its inception in 2018 and is already profitable. The website shows its products has been used by more than 250,000 students across 5,000 schools.
