Vivi, an Australia-based visual learning, collaboration, and administration platform for education, announced it has completed a capital raise of $20 million led by Quad Partners, a New York-based education investor.

The investment will help Vivi accelerate overseas expansion, particularly in the US where its team has expanded from two to 18. The funding will also allow the company to introduce a series of teacher efficiency features.

Founded in 2016, Vivi provides wireless presentation, screen mirroring and digital signage tool for education. It enables teachers and students to display, capture, annotate and save content in real-time.

Its technology has been used in over 40,000 classrooms around the world, and the company said the investment will help it expand into one million learning spaces within five years.
