Junto, a Berlin-based e-learning platform provider focusing on career upskilling announces today it has secured €5 million in a seed round of financing led by Earlybird, with Picus capital、Emerge capital and over 10 angel investors.
According to Johannes Schnell Kretschmer, the co-founder of Junto, the investment will be used to develop the platform’s tech and prepare for internationalization and to grow to about 20 employees by the end of the year and 50 by the end of 2023.
Three months before this round, Junto had just raised €1.2 million from more than 40 high-profile angel investors.
Founded in January 2022, the company offers courses created in cooperation with universities, companies, and experienced founders, enabling businesses to experience a course together over several weeks.
The courses broadly fall into two categories: classes around leadership and then more functional courses about specific roles such as sales or HR. 95% of the courses are taught by top operators at companies like Google and Amazon, and 5% are superstars, like successful founders.
