Indian digital classroom Bodhi AI secures $200K to help teachers increase income online

Bodhi AI, an edtech startup located in Hyderabad, announced recently that it has secured $200K from The Marwari Angels (MAAN), Founders Angel Network (FAN), JIIF Shark Angels (JSA), UIncept, Ivy Growth, and POD. This round was also attended by angel investors Harsh Pokharna and Bhola Meena.

According to BodhAI, the fresh capital will be used to help teachers expand their student base and increase their income online. 

Founded by Prashant Pandey and Piyush Agarwal in 2017, Bodhi AI empowers teachers by bringing their coaching online with their brand name and helps them connect with students. The startup claims to have a million users currently, and has started building its presence internationally with a few clients already onboarded from Middle-east countries. 

Skoolstream, a Kota-based edtech business, was bought by Bodhi AI in March 2022. The startup’s competitors in India are Teachmint and Classplus at the current stage. According to Crunchbase,  Teachmint has raised $118 million and Classplus has raised $80 million at a valuation of roughly $129.5 million.
