Beijing-based study abroad consulting service provider Red-crowned Crane announced recently that it has closed an angel round of financing of nearly 10 million yuan. This round was led by Qingshan Capital.
According to the startup, the fresh capital will be used for marketing and digital platform construction.
Founded in 2020, the startup provides services for the academic qualifications and further education of the on-the-job group. With Beijing as the headquarters, the startup has established teaching centers in the United States, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Pakistan.
According to Zhaopin, since the outbreak of the Covid-29 epidemic in 2020, the number of “Haigui” which represents Chinese nationals who have returned to mainland China after having studied abroad has increased significantly, and increased by 8.6% year-on-year in 2022. And the supply and demand of “Haigui” will both see an increase in 2023.
