2020 Gaokao in Beijing Will Not Be Rescheduled Under The New Outbreak
Beijing Municipal Education Commission announces at a press conference that the National College Entrance Examination-Gaokao, and the Senior High School Entrance Examination-Zhongkao, will not be postponed in the city. Besides, the arrangement for summer vocation remains unchanged, which will start from July 11th and end on September 1st.
Furthermore, schools are not allowed to organize final exams for students in grades 1 to 3 at elementary schools. In contrast, schools are encouraged to held final exams in online or offline forms for students in other grades.
Besides, the spokesman suggested that schools in Beijing need to prepare for both online and offline teaching plans for the autumn semester.
This morning, Beijing reports 31 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number in the capital to 137 since June 11th.
