Esme Learning closes $7.5 million Series A funding round led by Adit Ventures

Digital learning platform Esme Learning Solutions announced that it closed a $7.5 million Series A funding round led by Adit Ventures.  Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneurs David Shrier and Beth Porter, Esme Learning has already partnered with multiple top-tier universities. It currently works with Oxford to deliver cybersecurity, fintech, and blockchain programs. The online course offerings last for six weeks and cost approximately $3,200.  More university partners and course offerings will be announced throughout Q1 2021. The company will double its headcount this quarter to meet increasing demand.According to its statement, the new funding will also be dedicated to further developing Esme Learning’s course methodology and core artificial intelligence technology, which includes developing more tools underpinned by AI to reinvent remote learning for increased student engagement and success.
