ByteDance to onboard 13,000 employees within the next four months for its edtech unit Dali
ByteDance, the China-based internet titan and the owner of Tiktok, announced at the end of February to supercharge its edtech unit Dali through recruiting 13,000 employees within the next four months. According to the hiring poster, ByteDance is looking for 1,0000 professionals with education industry work experience and over 3,000 fresh graduates. Job positions include teaching staff, development associates, product designers, and marketing executives across over 11 cities in China.“Once completed, it would more than double the 10,000-strong team (as of December last year) of Dali Education, ByteDance’s edtech arm,” Tech in Asia reported. Since the first announcement of the recruitment of 10,000 professionals in March last year, Bytedance’s latest move indicates its direction of business expansion, that is, further vigorous investment in the education market.
