OnlineMedEd, an Austin, Texas-based healthcare training company, raised $20 million funding led by Lumos Capital Group.

Founded in 2014, OnlineMedEd is a digital clinical learning platform used by aspiring physicians and healthcare professionals to gain the knowledge needed for exams and everyday practice.

The company claimed its products are used by over 300,000 learners in 193 countries, and they are also used by over 50 universities nationally, and many more around the world.

The latest investment will be used to cater to its international users by offering more region-relevant content on its platform, and also used to open international offices. The company also recently evolved from a one-year curriculum to a four-year curriculum that covers students from their first day in med school until they graduate.
