Thrive Global, the behavioral change company founded by Arianna Huffington, has raised an $80 million Series C co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Owl Ventures.

Founded in 2016, Thrive offers technology and tools that help employees enhance their well-being and performance through its App.

To date, Thrive users have taken more than 1.5 million Microsteps, small, science-backed steps to help build healthy habits, across the six Journeys in the Thrive app: Recharge, Food, Move, Money, Focus and Connect.

Thrive also developed Thriving Mind, a mental health and resilience program, in partnership with Stanford Medicine, which has been rolled out to many Thrive customers, including Accenture’s global workforce of over 500,000.

The funding will help Thrive expand its product, engineering and design teams, and invest in its data science, AI and machine learning capabilities. The company will also double down on hiring for its go-to-market teams and building a business development team.
