Singapore-based Edtech startup Jackett secures $1 million seed investment

Jackett, a Singapore-based Edtech startup announced recently it has raised $1 million in seed funding led by Forge Ventures. The deal was also participated by Entrepreneur First, Epic Angels Network, Angel investors such as Carousell cofounder Siu Rui Quek and OnLoop’s Projjal Ghatak.

 

According to the company, the capital injected will be used for improving its operating system and enter emerging markets.

 

Founded in 2021 and first launched in India, Jackett now is based in Singapore and provides AI and machine learning-enabled system in terms of automating time-consuming tasks such as creating, grading and personalising assessments.

 

“Education has reached an inflection point where new technologies can help enhance the teaching process, reduce the administrative burden, and create a better and more personalised learning experience for students at scale,” said Charlotte Trugdill, cofounder of Jackett.

 

Jackett claims that across India, teachers have save an estimated 7,000 hours by using its services to create over 50,000 assessment questions for students.
